Clarence Thomas sells Barack Obama out
Is Clarence Thomas a self hating Black man?
The Supreme Court justice and man who unwittingly brought sexual harassment law into living room discussions during his confirmation hearing in 1991, is formally requesting that his fellow Supreme Court justices agree to hear a lawsuit a New Jersey man has filed, asserting that since Barack Obama wasn’t born in the United States, he was ineligible to be elected president.
In case you’re wondering why you didn’t know that Obama was born outside the United States, the answer is simple: it isn’t true. The state of Hawaii has repeatedly vouched for the validity of his birth certificate, yet at every stage of his political career some conservative individual or group has tried reasserting that lie into the legal system.
The most high profile example of this is another Black Republican, Alan Keyes, who on November 13th filed a similar lawsuit, theorizing that a Honolulu newspaper doctored the 1961 microfilm supporting Obama’s citizenship and that the Barack Obama political machine have spent millions of dollars covering up this fact. Keyes, you might remember as the guy who ran against Obama for the open Illinois Senate seat in 2004, despite moving to Illinois for the first time just 86 days before the general election. And he thinks Obama is the one carpetbagging.
So why do so many Black Republicans have it in for Barack Obama? I mean there are plenty of conservatives on the Supreme Court, but you don’t see Antonin Scalia trying to undermine Obama’s presidency.
The answer I think is because the idea of a Obama presidency is so much more threatening to a Black Republican than it is to a White Republican. By the nature of what Obama represents, he’s a role model an entire generation of Black children will strive to emulate not only in his accomplishments, but as people like Thomas and Keyes are all too aware, in his politics.

Geez, this stuff happens all the time, try being informed a bit before making stupid announcements.
The suit has already been presented to other supreme court judges who had to waste a lot of time rejecting it for consideration. By bringing the case forward and allowing it to then be promptly rejected by the entire court, it ends these jokers chance to keep appealing to the justices one after another. This kind of thing happens frequently.
Obama isn’t off the hook either, he could authorize the realease of his real birth certificate but he won’t. Hawaii is only releasing a certificate of live birth, which means that as an infant, his birth certificate was filed with hawaii. It doesn’t make any claims where he was actually born. Why Obama is allowing this to drag on rather than just disclosing the original is puzzling and annoying.
