Grammy Catfight Between Rihanna And Jay Z
All of the 2008 Grammy’s highlights had to do with Rihanna. Her performance of Umbrella/ Don’t Stop The Music was hot, but that was nothing compared to the drama she displayed together with Jay Z when they received the Rap Collaboration Award for Umbrella.
When the two got up to accept the award, Rihanna tried to hold Jay Z’s hand, but he pulled her hand away. Rihanna then raised her hands as if asking: WTF?! When they were standing on stage, they kept a clear distance from one another and it all seemed very awkward.
I bet Jay Z wasn’t acting like such a puritan when Beyonce wasn’t around. He was trying to make it look like there was nothing going on between Rihanna and him, but got the exact opposite.

I missed “the incident” and am dying to see a video of it. Does anyone know where I can find it on the net? I am so glad that she won last night. Girl deserved an award as hard as she has been working. What did you think of her performance? I think that she is truly an amazing performer. man the video that they have of her accepting the award is edited.They cut out what really happen. Bey folk went into damage contol and didnt want her to look bad. bey was nominated in the category too, they have removed her from the nomination list and cut and edited the video of riri accepting the award. Notice no-one saw or could find the video yesterday. Thats because they had to edit it. Everytime it was post,(the real thing) they yanked it from the net. The video dont show any confusion. what really happen was they both got the nomination for it. riri won, she got up and was going to shake jay hand,he went in for the hug, they hugged, she motioned for him to come on stage, he hesitated like nah, she threw up her hands like why wzup, then she grabbed him and took him to the stage, she began to speak he said she like to thank her fans for her first grammy, she said i like to thank jay, he said thank u jigga for being the greatest in the world, she began to speak, he interupted her again, she began to pass love licks, she thro up her hand finish the speech and they walk off passing love licks. If you didnt watch it you wont find it or see it. You cant even find the video of her getting the award on youtube. bey folks hate it. cant see another female come up and by the way on her ni***. jay shouldve went to the stage willingly, he is her boss and he is on the song. Y not? bey just cant hold it no more.

I don’t know what you all saw but I didn’t see any awkward action between the two…. rather playful together. She held his hand and then let go to wave to the audience as Jay-z followed her to the stage. She held out her hand on stage because he she didn’t want him to make another comment but in a playful manner and then at the end she smacked him he hugged her by the neck and she put her hand around his waist and walked off the stage together talking and laughing… It’s amazing how people can get things twisted even when the video is staring them in the face. Just by having some idiot put out bad info to get people going…

People need to understand she’s a TEENAGER!!! if I won a freegin grammy in my teens, I would act just as happy and jubilant. I don’t think she was even THINKING about Beyonce at that moment or that she’s “the other woman”. Yes, they’re a bit flirty but c’mon, she’s a island goddess and he’s the ruler/owner of the hip hop world! I’d flirt too, harmlessly.

OMG, I just looked at the video and some sites are saying Jay-Z dissed her by thrusting his hand away and she said WTF? ACTUALLY, Riri LET GO of JAY’s hand, and threw her hands up like “Can u believe this! We won!” SHe totally let go of him, not the other way around.

I think it’s just another feather in Jay’z cap to have been so sure about signing RIhanna. She has more #1 hits than Beyonce now. And this was no incident, I agree. Ri was overly excited, Jay is cool and used to winning Grammy’s and he was not going to let her ‘drag’ him on stage. That’s all he just pulled away so that he could ‘walk’ up the steps without her dragging him. I also agree we need to be reading some books instead of this mess.
