4. Redneck Fame Whore????What century do you live in? The human body is programmed to like sex, just because she accidently fell pregnant after enjoying herself does not make her a bad person! Being 16 myself, i sympathise for her. not only is she going through a pregnancy (that no 16 year old can handle herself) she has to handle it under intense scrutiny along with an older sister who can’t cope and a mum who’s attention can not solely be on her. give her a break. oh and the insult was really pathetic.

10. Everyone needs to shut the hell up, leave the fucking girl alone. Being a pregnant teen is NO DIFFERENT than being elder UNLESS you are highly immature. Being a mom of TWO at 18, and getting pregnant at 16 as well, I know this. It’s not that bad, and she has the funds to care for the child and give it what it needs. She’s not her sister, so until she does something incredibly fucked up, leave the girl alone. she’s a normal HUMAN BEING.

21. OK; this is bullshit. Who ever has written this needs to get a life and leave Jamie Lynn alone. Just because she’s sixteen and pregnant doesnt change the fact that she’s an amazing actress; and that she’s smart. Everyone makes mistakes; it’s life. She’s a teenager; and shouldnt be judge just because of her family members reputations.
    Everyone has issues in their families; an because the spears family is “celebrity” doesnt mean that you have to publisize and critisize every single mistake; or trouble they go through. I personaly think that she was very mature as to keep her child; she’ll make a great mom.
    I’m under sixteen and i’m pregnant. BIG FUCKING DEAL.

    and no I dont think it shows maturity to keep the baby and raise it. I’ve over heard alot of girls that age going “awww I want a baby!” they think it’s “cool” or it would be “fun” they don’t realize what it is to be a parent, they think of giggles and cute little outfits,people complementing on the baby etc. they don’t think about waking up every two hours, they dont think of the risks of having a child (especially at a young age) they dont think about when the child gets sick and they don’t know what to do.
    and if she decided to spread her legs all over the place, she should have at least thought about using protection.

Ok….first of all…you al need to stop bagging on Jamie…she is doing something alot of young people wouldnt dream of doing, at least she is accepting the consequences of her actions but keeping this baby and not killing it jus because shes young, if she has that frame of mind then she has the frame of mind to handle it, it is britney who needs 2 b criticised for being a mum not jamie, its obvious that anyone with half a brain wil do better than britney so get over it!
    I fell pregnant at 14 and had my son at 15, hes now 22 months old and im doing an amazing job with him, so wot im 17 and a mum, i accepted the consequences of my actions as many people do not, as far as im concerned you all need to get a life and stop harassing this family, thats all jamie is trying to do, be a family!! she has enough 2 deal with what with her sister the way she is and being a famous 16yo actress whos pregnant, shes going to do an amazing job and that wil become obvious once this child is born!
    and to the person who said protection, my son is a product of using both the pil and condoms in conjunction with each other, condoms break, pills fail, its not uncommon, and certainly no reason to judge, also u cant say that uv never slept with someone unprotected, u were young once too! this stuff offends me, so imagine how jamie would feel if she read what u people say about her

    Ever thought of people back in the days who were sold specifically to marry and have babies as young as 14, it wuld b because the body is at its prime for child bearing between say 15-20 so i dnt kno wot ur on about, its easier labour in some cases, and healing is alot easier, my labour was 5 hours and i was bak to normal after 7days thanx so shut ur mouth…obviously u havent had a child at some young age so u wuld have absolutly no idea wot we go thru or how we cope, u may have seen those horror stories on tv or mayb someone in ur family had a baby at a young age and ur jealous or something, but hey get over it, imagine if she cud never have children and this was her one shot, how ud she feel if she found out later on (as i have now) that she cudnt have more children and she had had a termination of her one chance, think about that one!

27. Honestly, I mean the only reason this is making headlines is because she’s famous, its human nature to love sex and she just ended up getting pregnant. So honestly yeah the poor girl needs to be left alone for now… HOWEVER, I do think Parents should use this situation as a chance to talk to their daughters about sex and what it can do at a young age.

28. OMG, would you all listen to yourselves. I’m doing research for a college paper on celebrity gossip online that brought me to this site. This is unreal how you all are acting. The people that need to be criticized are you for making such a big deal out of NOTHING that deals with you people. Yes, a 16 yr. old girl got pregnant, and yes it does happen everyday. Do I think it had something to do w/ her lashing out at what her sister has put her through? Probably a little bit. And yes accidents do happen with birth control and pills. But the fact that Jaime is in the spotlight means that it is her RESPONSIBILITY to be a role model. Not saying that she is the first to screw up, or the last, but she did SCREW UP! I applaud her however for taking the responsibility AFTER by raising her child. But the people that really need to be judged are the so called MOMS on here that are spending their time lashing out at people on a celebrity gossip page rather than spending time w/ their children. 41. At least she was willing to keep the baby, there are so many teenagers as well as adult women who would have ran to the clinic as soon as they found out. 44. i am 16 and got a 5 month old son. I was pregnant at 15 and kept it a secrit from everyone (friends and family) until i was 8 months pregnant. i got kicked out and almost disowned by my family. i am now happily married to my sons father and my son daniel is growing so healthy and fast! i am proud to jamie lynn spears. she is dealing with it alot better than i did. with telling parents and friends and tvs and magz, i could never be able to do that. so i think jamie lynn would be a great mom, wife(if engaged), and daughter/sister. I’m 16, my husband is 18, and my son is 5months old and we are all living happy as a great growing family
