Lance Armstrong is best know for winning 7 consecutive Tour de Frances, but he could just as easily be known for really, really liking blondes. Here’s a few of his favorites:

Kristin Richard was a PR executive who met Armstrong at a charity event and went on to become the first Mrs. Armstrong on May 8, 1998. The couple would have three children together before calling it quits in December 2003. Kristin is now ironically a professional cyclist.

Armstrong has never publicly revealed why the two split, but what is know is he was dating Sheryl Crow at least two months before the divorce became official. Crow and Armstrong looked like the perfect celebrity couple and on August 31, 2005 he proposed to her in the middle of a lake on a fishing boat. The engagement lasted 5 months, with Crow cryptically commenting afterwards if she wanted to be married, she would have been married by now.

Next up was Tory Burch, a divorced New York City based fashion designer. That relationship lasted for about 7 months before geography became too much of a problem. Tory is now dating Lyor Cohen, the Israeli born head of Warner Music Group.

Soon Armstrong was seen in the company of Ashley Olsen, making out in public with the child actress 15 years his junior. Um… the less said about that, the better.

But lately Armstrong seems to be enjoying the presence of actress Kate Hudson, who bringing it full circle, is the ex of Owen Wilson, someone Sheryl Crow also dated. I guess there’s a very limited dating pool for celebrities to choose from.

Anyway, so what do we learn from all this?

Well Lance Armstrong either really likes blondes or blondes really, really like guys with only one ball.
