Miley Cyrus Dead! (according to Yahoo News)
Miley Cyrus died for a few hours yesterday. The official cause of death - mainstream media incompetence.
An internet hoax was perpetrated, when for a brief period of time some pranksters put up stories on Digg and Wikipedia how a truck, driven by an unidentified Black man, drove into Miley Cyrus on the way to the set of the Hannah Montana movie, killing her.
The account was easily refutable, Miley Cyrus made several public appearances Friday, and frankly racist, but Yahoo News, not wanting to be left behind on a major story, decided fact checking is for pussies and ran with it anyway, attributing the reporting to the not even spelled right “Rueters”.
It just goes to show that “don’t believe everything you read on the internet” even extends to more respected sites like Yahoo News. Although by that same measure, maybe I’m the one making up the story, and Miley Cyrus really is dead.
You just don’t know man, you just don’t know.
