Love is a commitment. Marriage is forever. However, there are deal breakers, such as adultry, dom. violence…etc…
If nothing like that occurred, then there was definitely hope. Today,Society teaches us that if your not “happy” then get out…Life and relationships do not always make us happy. True happiness comes from within, through a relationship with God, first. Then and only then can you find happiness in someone else. Maybe Nick and Jess forgot about that during the pre-marital phase and were only thinking about sex. Sex really fools people into thinking they really love each other and are ready for a full life together. Since they did not have sex before marriage, that might have been there passion for each other, initially. Connecting sexually. Then after the wedding and wedding night. Reality set in and they weren’t ready for the rest of there lives. (Mainly Jess) They could still reconcile. If they want. We all hope they will. Someday. God Bless.
